Last Saturday, August 19th, all Adventist churches in Spain expressed solidarity with the victims of the terrorist attacks in Barcelona and Cambrils, where, once again, an Islamic terrorist attack broke the lives of 15 people and left more than one hundred hospitalized, 50 of whom are still hospitalized, 9 of them being seriously injured.

On Saturday, August 19th 2017, all Adventist churches in Spain kept a minute of silence, in which they prayed to God asking for all those families immersed in pain, as well as for peace in this world. Some churches wanted to express their pain by publicly manifesting themselves at the door of the church, at the end of the divine worship service, where they kept their minute of prayer in silence.

The Seventh-Day Adventist Spanish Union thanks all the brothers for their quick reaction and affection and solidarity with those affected by the attacks, especially in Catalonia. The Seventh-day Adventist Church in Spain condemns any violent act and will continue to pray and help, as far as possible, to alleviate the suffering of the victims.
