The Christian TV Hope Channel run by the adventist media center "Voice of Hope" (SDH) is now offering a new app version for free download.

The previously paid app is now available free of charge. In addition to technical innovations and adaptations for current and upcoming smartphones and tablets, further new content has been added. For example, more Livestreams, but also Media Centres of Hope Channel Japan, Denmark and Great Britain (UK), Speranta TV from Romania and Hope Channel Radio from Germany. Likewise, with the new iPhone and iPad app now it is possible to stream videos via Apple TV to the TV.

For this reason, 19 Livestreams are currently available in thousands of videos worldwide, including German, English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Norwegian, Hindi, Arabic, Chinese, and more than 10 media centres of various Hope Channel stations. According to the channel, the Hope Channel App has been downloaded more than 160,000 times.

Hope Channel Germany

Hope Channel was the first German TV channel to offer an iPhone app already in July 2010. It was granted admission as a 24/7 TV channel by the Hessian State Private Broadcasting and New Media Authority (Hessischer Landesanstalt für Privat Rundfunk und neue Medien) and the Commission for Approval and Supervision at the beginning of 2009. It is free to receive via ASTRA, some cable networks and on the Internet.
