The bookstore ‘Salud, pan y más’ opened its doors on January 4 in Sagunto. The owner is a Safeliz publisher, Jorge Tobar.
The Tobar family
Jorge Tobar is a colporteur of Safeliz publishing house who, together with his family (Maria, Valentina and Jorge), accepted the challenge of leaving the big cities, leaving behind their life in the big city of London. They did so with the dream of a project that would help fulfill the mission of making known the second coming of our Savior.
“We have been dreaming for seven years now of having a retail business to promote a healthier lifestyle through the eight healthy habits,” explained Tobar. “We have done several activities of the Expo-Health in London, having an excellent response from the community. This led me to train as a healthy habits coach at a prestigious institute in Mexico City,” continued Tobar. “Afterwards, I took some courses at Montemorelos University on a new lifestyle, as well as the program Quiero vivir sano (I want to live healthy)”.
A different bookstore
Tobar wants people who attend to see that it is more than just an ordinary bookstore. There they will be able to find advice and a new proposal to have a better and healthier lifestyle. For this there will have courses and informative talks, to acquire better habits, with the support of several professionals committed to the same mission.
The Name and Business Partners
The name ‘Health, bread and more’ was chosen because the Tobars want to be pioneers in providing methods to prevent diseases and help improve the ailments of the sick.
In alliance with the Bible Societies and with the direct support of the Church leaders, and in an act of great trust, the Bible Society of Spain gave Tobar the opportunity to represent them in the community. “We will provide all our collaborators with all the necessary material to spread the study of the Bible in all its forms”, so Tabor.
The Opening
The bookstore was inaugurated on January 4, 2023, after having received all permits. The inauguration saw the presence of several important personalities, such as the distinguished writer, Dr. Jorge Pamplona, together with his wife Rosa Blanca, who even signed his new book: "The Medicinal Power of New Foods".
Also in attendance was the managing director of ADRA Camp de Morvedre, who gave his support to this new project, in the persons of Juan Carlos Pulleiro and Florinda, to activate the training and support plan for foreigners in this area.
“We also have the support of other professionals who have wanted to join this plan”, added Tabor.
Future plans
“Our most important step will be to be able to activate the plan ‘Bread at home’ which is to make the "Pan Ezequiel" available - the number one in the world at nutritional level because the recipe was given by our Creator in Ezekiel 4:9.
“We will also set up a ‘Valentina's Garden’, a project of my daughter Rosse Valentina, who sells cactus and aromatic plants”, commented Tabor.
