The Association Médicale Adventiste de Langue Française (AMALF) is a non-profit humanitarian association, created in 1979 under the impetus of Dr Patrick Guenin.

AMALF brings together health professionals (doctors, midwives, nurses, psychologists, physiotherapists, etc.) from France, Switzerland, and Belgium or Luxembourg, and from the Seventh-day Adventist Church, but not exclusively. Its objective is to provide for the needs of any sick, injured, or disabled person, without distinction of race, religious or political conviction. AMALF structures its actions so that they can be increasingly useful and inspiring, touching not only physical, but also moral and spiritual health.

AMALF proposes an annual meeting, this time in Collonges, with the subject, "intestinal health, the microbiota in all its states".

The reflection on this subject concerns every human being. From birth to the last breath, the body defends itself, adapts, reacts, expresses itself and evolves indefinitely. All this is only possible thanks to a few billion bacteria and viruses closely linked to our tissues. This universe of life and microorganisms in each human being is linked to our DNA and our brain. This is the microbiota.

The microbiota is still a mystery in many ways, but health depends on its diversity, richness, and maintenance.

This year, AMALF proposes a dive into this universe of the microbiota. The annual meeting of AMALF will allow those present to discover or deepen their understanding of this subject, to see what this fascinating and extraordinary universe is made of, revealing its Author.

AMALF also represents a lasting humanitarian commitment to the French-speaking world. A second topic of reflection will be "the ethics of service and giving".

To make this reunion a real opportunity for joy and enrichment, AMALF is exceptionally offering the registration fee and invites you to share a convivial and festive evening around a buffet, also offered!

"So, join us, whether you are a health professional or not. You are all welcome to our congress version 2.0.22," declared one of the organisers.
