From today, April 26, to April 29, 2021, the Department of Theology of Friedensau Adventist University will host a symposium with the theme: "The Kingdom of God is at Hand. Adventist Interpretations of Biblical Apocalypticism" will be held. It is an event of the Institute of Adventist Studies (IAS). It will be conducted online and led by Prof. Rolf Pöhler. 22 international speakers will address around 200 registered international participants at the symposium. It is an opportunity to consider and discuss the diversity, continuity and different perspectives of Adventist interpretation of biblical apocalyptic. Presentations by Adventist biblical scholars, historical, systematic and practical theologians will provide a basis for exchange among themselves. Participation in the online symposium is free of charge; a donation is requested. Registration and detailed programme.

In consideration of international time zones, the symposium will take place in the afternoon and evening between 3 and 10 p.m. Central European Time.
