Playing your favourite song in your smart living room with the help of Alexa, setting your alarm clock with a Siri voice command or relaxing in a self-driving car - artificial intelligence (AI) is already part of many areas of our everyday life. With generative AI systems such as Chat GPT and DALL-E, a hype has currently been unleashed that heralds a new era of communication between humans and machines.
How can we, as Adventist media professionals, make use of artificial intelligence? What opportunities does the use of algorithms offer us? What tools and programmes are there for creative media work? To what extent is artificial intelligence already in use in the worldwide Adventist Church? What risks and challenges do AI systems bring with them? And how can we as Christians deal with them responsibly?
We will discuss these questions during Hope Media Day, on May 7. You can expect a varied media day around the trendy topic of "artificial intelligence". We will exchange ideas about our projects and introduce you to AI-based tools that you can use to take your creative work to the next level.
