"Parents: be patient and wait for your children. Young people: get involved in the mission."

The Pathfinder Camporee is over, but the impact and influence on the lives of young people will bear fruit forever. It was six days of intense activity, physically, mentally, and socially, along with deepening their relationship with Jesus.

The final nights, Friday and Saturday, had two moments of great spiritual significance. On Friday, at sunset at the beginning of the Sabbath, 14 young people from the represented countries gave their lives to Jesus in an unforgettable baptismal ceremony, witnessed by 2,800 young people united in prayer and songs of praise. On Saturday evening, the group enjoyed the presentation of the Christian musical production JESUS, The Musical, which unveiled its 11 songs, then performed one song each night.

"Seeing young people surrender their lives to Jesus is the deepest motivation for the entire Adventist Youth ministry," says Jonatan Tejel. This is an opportunity to hear EUD Youth Director Jonatan, 57, a native of Spain who is married to Daniela, an Italian. Father of two daughters and youth leader by vocation, Jonatan speaks with ardour about the ministry that is in his heart, the Pathfinder movement, and the Youth Department's projects underway and for the future. He reveals his vision of the current generations of young people and appeals, with experience and pastoral sense, to family and youth action. An interview to listen to carefully. And an opportunity to realise the depth of love for young people and for the mission that this vision reveals.
