PULSEmeet is, above all, a training course, a ‘strong impulse’ intended for all leaders, not just youth leaders. The concept is both simple and effective: presentations (6 plenaries), workshops to choose from (more than 20), moments for discussion, and sharing, a market for ideas and projects.

Workshop Sessions

Workshops were the core of PULSEmeet 2024. They were organised in thematic tracks to help participants choose the most meaningful and impactful workshops to help them in their ministry: Discipleship Culture, Acts Culture, Church Culture, Care Culture, Share Culture.

PULSEmeet was also an occasion for meeting or, rather, for multiple encounters. Comparing with the ideas of others, taking the time to listen to them attentively, and with an open mind, one can only learn. Of course, even if we all live in Europe, our ideas diverge, our sensitivities vary, our opinions are nuanced, our faith and life experiences differ, but this diversity, although remaining a challenge, is crucial for dialogue and understanding.

The theme of the 2024 edition, “Kingdom Culture”, carried a strong message: that of the values of the Kingdom advocated by Christ, particularly in the Sermon on the Mount. The presentations, workshops and visual sketches focused on these values of kindness, hospitality, generosity, peace, benevolence, and, above all, love. The communion service was the culmination of this meeting, inviting participants to come together and practice Kingdom values.

Jonatan Tejel, Inter-European Division youth leader and organizer of the event, commented: “Since 2019, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we had not had the opportunity to organize PULSEmeet, the leadership meeting of our Inter-European Division (EUD). From February 21-24, 2024, we were able to meet again in Schönblick, Schwäbisch Gmünd, Germany, to participate in a new EUD leadership meeting.

I would like to thank the Youth Department teams of both the EUD and the German Unions for their work in the organization and success of the event”, continued Tejel. “I would also like to thank all the participants who came to listen, contribute, enjoy, and dream together with us under the theme of the meeting, ‘Kingdom Culture’.

I sincerely hope that the event has been useful to all those that have participated, and we look forward to seeing you again at the next PULSEmeet that will take place in the same facilities, in the year 2027.

May God give us all His power to put into practice, in the local churches, what we experienced in PULSEmeet, and may our churches be the place where we are hoping to go every Saturday to have an experience with Jesus and live, from now on, His Kingdom,” concluded Tejel.
