GOLDEN HOUR 178

In today’s fast-paced world, taking time to volunteer is more precious than ever. Most of us have seen in the one or other occasion, just how powerful and life-formative volunteer work can be. Where you ever in need and volunteers reached out to help you? Did you join a sports club as a child or pathfinders and had the chance to look up to your trainers or guides?

As ADRA Czech celebrates the 20th anniversary of their volunteering program, we’re joining them with gratitude and joy for everyone who has been part of this wonderful journey.

Volunteering goes beyond just helping others; it’s about building connections and strengthening our communities. In times when it can feel like society is pulling apart, volunteers are the ones who bring us together. They are the heart and soul of many of our domestic programs across Europe, making a real difference by supporting those in need, responding to emergencies, and helping communities become stronger and more resilient.

To celebrate this special milestone, ADRA Czech has put together a video that features interviews with some of their first volunteers and volunteer coordinators. These wonderful people have been with us from the beginning, and their stories highlight just how impactful volunteer work can be. Their experiences are a powerful reminder of how precious it is to invest your time and gifts into the lives of others.

Watch the video, listen to the inspiring stories of our volunteers, and see why volunteering is so valuable in today’s world.
