GOLDEN HOUR 95

From May 19 to 26, 2024, the students of Friedensau Adventist University are inviting you to a "Week of Cultures". As is the case every year, several events are planned:

On Sunday, May 19, 2024, 10 a.m., the "Week of Cultures" will start with a soccer tournament on the soccer pitch "An der Ihle"; afterwards, the best teams will be honored. Ambitious footballers are welcome to join the event on site. On Tuesday, May 21, 2024, 9 a.m., interested parties will meet for a joint "Cultural walk with picnic" at the fountain in front of the Conradi House. On Wednesday, May 22, 2024, visitors are invited to help shape the evening event, "Show me your country", from 6 p.m. in the assembly hall. On Thursday evening, May 23, also from 6 p.m., a film and games evening is on the program in the Student Center. On Friday, May 24, the traditional Shabbat Shalom will follow at 7.30 p.m. in the chapel, which will be organized by students with songs, texts and a devotional section. On Saturday, May 25, 10 a.m., a German-English service (with translation) will take place in the chapel.

The final event will be an "Afternoon of Cultures" on Sunday, May 26, starting at 2 p.m. in the barn with an internationally oriented program by the students. Guests are very welcome. Admission to all events is free. As no additional funding is available this year, the students are asking for a generous financial donation to cover the costs. The next event of this kind is planned for May 2025.
