During the academic closing of the Adventist Faculty of Theology of Collonges-sous-Salève, on June 9, 2024, an important handover took place. The professor of systematic theology, Eurico Correia, took over from Gabriel Monet as dean of the faculty. Pastor-Professor Gabriel Monet, a specialist in practical theology, had assumed the role of dean for seven years, succeeding Luca Marulli. The latter himself took over the position from Roland Meyer.

This change in leadership is an opportunity to recall the essential mission of the Adventist campus and the teaching of theology: to train men and women for pastoral ministry. The Faculty of Theology plays a central role in preparing future pastors and leaders of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, providing them with solid biblical, theological, and practical training.

Under the direction of Gabriel Monet, the institution has continued to evolve to meet contemporary challenges in pastoral training. His commitment and expertise have been invaluable in maintaining teaching excellence and supporting students in their journey.

Eurico Correia will undoubtedly continue to develop and enrich the institution. His appointment testifies to the institution's desire to pursue its mission dynamically and to adapt to the needs of the Church and society.

The Adventist community expresses its gratitude to Gabriel Monet for his dedicated service as dean and wishes Eurico Correia a fruitful tenure in training a new generation of servants of the Gospel.
